The Witch house „Hexenhiesl“ is often visited as a resting place on bike tours. Right next to the forest, it is a natural invitation for all generations.
The oak work of art completed in May 2011 by the Lahr wood artist Bertram Bilger next to the Hexenhiesl on the L 118 between Meißenheim and Kurzell is eye-catching.
On July 17, 2011, the sculpture, which was commissioned by Deputy Mayor Heinz Schlecht, was inaugurated. The Auwälder hunting horn blowers provided the music for the event.
