In our kindergarten, up to 90 children from two to six years of age are looked after and supported in four mixed-age core groups. With us, children will find educational rooms that arouse children’s curiosity through their versatile equipment, meet their various developmental needs and enable enjoyable learning at their own pace.
Mindfulness and empathy is the basis of our educational activities. We get involved in what every child does and how they become with great respect and appreciation for their educational processes and thus take them seriously. We want to respect the individuality and uniqueness of every child. We see the diversity and diversity of children as a challenge and an opportunity.
Playing is the child’s own way of dealing with their environment, exploring, understanding and “conquering” it. We see ourselves as companions of the child and support them in their development.
Regular observations according to the “infans” concept make the individual starting position of the child the starting point for our educational activities. We take up the interests and topics of the child in projects and offers.
In the portfolios we record tangible traces of learning from the personal educational biography of each child.
Religion is essential for a child to grow up. We educators at the Evangelical Kindergarten in Meißenheim deliberately pack biblical stories, songs in praise of God, prayers … in each child’s faith suitcase. We want to make the Christian faith tangible and tangible for the children in our daily interaction. Through beneficial, recurring rituals, we give the children orientation, security and support in our everyday lives. You will meet with us adults who show them the faith, tell them about it and answer their questions about God. Feasts of the church year have a fixed place with us.

Opening times are as follows:
Rule group: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Variable rule group: Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Full day group: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Group with extended opening hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Group for children under 3 years: Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
